President's Message

Welcome to Khandesh Gin Press Factory Owners Association, Jalgaon! Happy to see you all. I am Pradeep Shantilal Jain, the Founder President of the Association. 20 years ago, we founded the association to benefit everyone belonging to the cotton trade. 30 years before that the cotton traders distanced themselves and scattered due to the government’s policies. But the monopoly policy of the government was canceled in 2002 and this lit the new dawn of cotton trade in Maharashtra. Our state is the major region in growing cotton crops. The association decided to bring together all farmers, workers & factory owners for a better future. The Khandesh region is the foremost in manufacturing cotton bales in Maharashtra and we are proud of that.

There are 170 ginning and pressing factories in Khandesh. The cotton bales in our region are of high quality and with less contamination. Nearly 35 lakh cotton bales are manufactured a year in Khandesh and 10 lakh of them are exported annually. After launching our ambitious brand ‘Mahacot’, the cotton bales of Khandesh reached every nook & corners of the world. We are determined to start highly automated and advanced technology ginning press, oil mills and spinning mills in the nearest future.

We arrange industrial tours, business meetings, international visits and conferences to interact about the cotton trade and its future trends. Our visit to China in 2012 brought us golden days. The dedication and hard work brought illuminating success. The perusal of knowledge in various summits gives us the better chance to know each other. These efforts will be made consistently, so each one of us will surely benefitted.

Jai Hind!
